Back up and restore the configuration
Back up R1's configuration to NMS (10.1.1.50) twice: with TFTP as r1-confg, and with SCP as r1-backup.cfg (user backup, password Backup!23). Before you start, set R1's hostname to BRANCH-R1 so that you can see it in the files.
How it works: this is VulnTech NetLab, a network simulator running in your browser. Click a device in the diagram to open its console and type commands, just like on real equipment (? shows help, Tab finishes a word). Click a cable to inspect it. Tasks tick themselves off as you complete them; questions are answered in the box under each task. Your work is kept if you reload; Reset starts the network over.
Solution explanation
IOS suggests a file name from the hostname (branch-r1-confg here), so type the name you want. TFTP sends the file with no login and no encryption; SCP runs over SSH, so the password and the file are both encrypted.
